Here,I will show you,how to make a 3d candle stand tutorial in 3ds max.
I have used following techniques in making of this tutorial.

[1]First take a line and draw a figure like this.

[2]Hit Mirror and do like this.

[3]Copy it one times.

[4]Assign all the three like this.

[5]Then take a cylinder of this size.

[6]Take another cylinder and put it like this.

[7]Go to shapes and helix of this size.

[8]And place it like this.

[9]Copy it one times and place it like this.

[10]Take another cylinder of this size.

[11]Take one more cylinder of this size and place it like this.

[12]Then hit Helper and choose atmospheric apparatus,hit sphere Gizmo and adjust it like this.

[13]Take OMNI and place it like this.

[14]Select the whole stand, then press M and adjust it like this.

[15]Take the candle and add smoke material and apply it.

[16]This is the final image.
